Arthroscopic Repairs of Right Shoulder

ID: exh75760b
rnThis exhibit begins with an orientation view to show the location of the 3 stab incisions made to introduce the arthroscopic instruments into the shoulder joint. First, the shredding of the labrum is debrided and the long head of biceps tendon is sutured down to the rotator cuff interval. Secondly, the rotator cuff is re-attached back into the humeral head using anchor sutures and finally subacromial decompression is achieved by removing bone in this area.
